We have great experience in creating an operational transfer of knowledge documents such as SOPs. Experience tells us that these documents are a fantastic training aid. Providing pictorial references and maybe even creating some clarity on key points that sometimes can be misinterpreted in translation from OEM manuals and information. As technology moves on and the need and benefit for multi-channelled communication we are now looking to create video SOP's but again using our experience of capturing the correct and pertinent pieces of knowledge transfer. In a past life we have worked for and with major machine manufacturers in some of the biggest installations in particular sectors of UK manufacturing. It is uncanny how this is still a problem in ensuring there is the correct and useful transfer of knowledge. However this isn't the only scenario, many companies have the required knowledge within a very skilled workforce but fail to capture this and get caught out when the inevitable cycle of retirement happens or even if people move on to pastures new.  ​
